Safe and unsafe sports

When playing ball with Icon I throw the ball so he can catch it on a "one bounce". I don't like him having to try and stop because the ball is on the ground or rolling. Have seen him take some slips and falls that way because he is going after it a such a blistering speed.
With a one bounce toss he can catch it on a wide open run. I prefer to toss it on a slight uphill grade portion of our yard too. Definitly don't throw it downhill anymore. His favorite is throwing it into the pond though.
