Looks like your dog enjoys doing this.

I know I prefer the video of your dog running after the ball. I prefer watching our dogs use all 4 of their legs to RUN! Getting their exercise that way. Just watching them bite and use their mouths/necks is something I'm more used to seeing pitbull dog trainers do to buildup their muscles for that look.

Around here the only ones that do that, that I've ever seen, are the dog fighting crowd. If the dog enjoys it, I suppose why not. Certainly looks like she enjoys it!

Why do they have such heavy chains on in the photo?

yes she enjoys it a lot , the problem is that dog fighters use the springpole too because its a excelent excercise for the dog , but i would never fight my dogs they are part of my family and i love them ,,,that chain is a plastic chain not metall chain , its very light it weighs like 1pound

I agree the spring pole is a great form of exercise. I see plenty of people in not only my area, but also all over the forums I am on. It does strengthen the jaw and shoulders. It is not something only dog fighters do.

Good for you for keeping your dogs exercised, stimulated and fit.

You are doing it the right way by allowing her back legs to be able to touch the ground. Cool vids I personally prefer the flirt pole with non-bully breeds. Have you thought about doing Schutzhund with Maya? She has a pretty good bite and hold!
