Question what should we do next??

OK so Stoli and I have finished our obedience class and are needing something else to do!! So what in all of your opinions is the next step or the best sport to train in so as to keep Stoli stimulated and we can have fun with....
Info: We are in Boise ID so I have taken a look around but not exactly sure what all we have to offer but are willing to try anything really. Stoli did have UAP and had to have elbow surgery at 6 months but he hasnt seemed to let that stop him and doesn't have a limp or anything these days but I do want to stay from things that may cause injury or strain to that area as much as possible. OK and probably the biggest thing is his mom (aka me lol) has never done anything in terms of tracking agility etc so we'd both be novices and I'm sure Stoli wil end up passing me in ability very easily....so the easier on the mom the better lol oh also Stoli just turned 1 on June 7th

Maybe you can find a club in your area? Any dog sport is a learning experience for both the dog and owner
You will definitely get better as you practice more.
I've never tried agility, but I am willing to give it a shot because it looks so fun and I have a high energy puppy. She has way more energy than my WGSD ever did.

Can you look around for a K9 Nose Work class? Great for the mind and easy on the body. Raven and Kaiser love it.

Tracking or scenting might be fun to try. I'm going to try that next with Bunny.

can you leave the doors to your house
open and your dog stays in the house?

can you leave the car doors open and your dog
stays in the car?

will your dog run into the street after a ball?

does your dog heel on either side with or without a leash??

does your dog obey hand signals?

will your dog back up?

will your dog get his leash?

does your dog know "other side"? no
matter what side your dog is on if you say
other side will he switch sides?

these are some of the things you could teach
in addition to classes.

Rally obedience is what Skylar and I are doing, it's a great (fairly stress free) easy way to continue training and get used to the dog show environment, I'm hoping to someday get into formal obed. or agility with her, so this is a good way for us to get used to having someone judge us.

How about Advanced Obedience?

Indra and I start taking Advanced Obedience/Rally Classes at the AKC Club in Town. There is never "too much" obedience and there is always something to learn.

What would YOU like to do? Right now I have both dogs in a scent detection class, and Halo is also in a flyball class. She's a drivey little girl who is very fast, agile and athletic. She loves balls, so it seemed like a natural sport to try. I also want to try agility with her, and have picked out a class to take. She loves to jump into water and retrieve a toy, so dock diving is also on the agenda. I haven't done anything but basic OB classes for the past 5 years, since Dena's agility classes, so I'm having a blast taking classes just for fun!

I found a rally obedience class which was an intro to agility it said I will have to look into that and see how they are and if we'd be a good fit...I defiantely agree though there's always room for more obedience!

See I honestly don't know much on anything when it comes to the sports and "fun" classes which makes me feel awful but am not gonna lie about how naive i am...I searched a few links to see what others said I think nosework is something Stoli could really get into and I hadn't heard of flyball classes that could be one to look into as Stoli will do anything for a tennis ball lol thanks for all the help though everyone!!!

Here is a thread about Halo's flyball class: Halo in flyball class-pictures and video!

ETA: This is what it looks like all put together, it's a relay sport with two teams competing against each other at the same time:
