Not yet but I'm thinking of working towards it.

Right now we are training for it, slowly building up weight. Next Tuesday we will be adding more weight to the daily workout.
He isn't a purebred German Shepherd though, he is a German Shepherd/Labrador Retreiver mix.
We are still learning about it, we made a mistake when we first started by luring(baiting) him. Never bait a dog in weight pulling. The correct way to go about it is to put a leash on them, don't show any treats(in pocket etc), then say "work" or whatever command you use. If they don't move give a slight tug on the leash. As soon as they start pulling say "good boy/girl" praise as much as you can! Weight pulling dogs are spoiled! lol

I'm thinking about hooking Rogue and Sin up to a sled this year so they can pull my weight.

The important thing with weight pulling is never start off big! Dakota started with a 8 lb tire, he is a 62lb dog. And slowly build up the weight, usually within a week to two weeks time.

I've also been thinking about starting it with my dogs. Am planning to get them each harnesses with x-mas money.

At the UKC Premier a year ago, I sat and watched the weight pulling events, and it was alot of fun.....many of the dogs were bully types and just ripped like body builders.
