Hi... I am in Victoria. But, I love love love Parksville/Qualicum area. So quiet and peaceful. Beaches are gorgeous and lots of walking areas! And, so close to Nanaimo. :-) We were on the mainland for a few years, but I prefer a quieter "city." I do miss the shopping, though!
