Jake is doing well! He finally hit the 45 pound mark this week! I can't believe how big he's getting! It's going to be a rough week for him though ... he's going in to get neutered on Wednesday. I'm on vacation and I'll have the fun task of trying to keep a 6 month old pup calm and quiet for a few days

Last week, Jake was doing major teething! I lost is 2 bottom canines and those are growing back in nicely now. I think he's almost done now ... the amount of chewing he's doing has gone down considerably in the last few days. He had a rough night last Sunday night where a tooth was loose and was bugging him. By Monday morning the tooth was gone. How many of Gretta's teeth did you find? We found 5 of them and are keeping them in a baggy.

I just looked at the pics you have posted of Gretta ... She's gorgeous! And we are wondering too when Jake will grow into his ears!

How much does Jake weigh? I know with him being a fella that he'll weigh more that Gretta. She weighed 41.5 lbs a couple of days ago. She's been gaining about 2 lbs a week! I'm sure that will settle down soon now that she's 5 months. How's Jake around other dogs? When we got Gretta we noted that she was fearful around other dogs. We went on a campain to socialize her as much as possible and she's now 100% better with dogs smaller than her but still skiddish around larger dogs. I guess soon there won't be too many dogs larger than her and we won't have to worry bout it! Other than dogs, there have been no other fears. She's great with noise, storms, vacuum cleaner, lawn mower etc. How's Jake? I saw a pic you posted. He sure is cute. I'm going to try to post some more recent pics to an album. Does Jake like the water? We have found that Gretta really likes pouncing in water up to chest high. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you again with updates on Jake.

Hello! Wow, they are almost exactly the same age. Jake will be 20 weeks on Wednesday. Yeah, I'd love to compare notes and see how both our dogs are doing compared to each other.
