Yeah, it was crazy. We set all of our stuff in a pile and ran Rivers down to the water. A cute shepherd/lab mix comes over to play with us they wanders towards our stuff and lifts his leg on my sweatshirt, my shoes, and Rivers' leash! My mom has a 15 lb boston terrier, he will probably stay behind next time.
Rivers hopes she can have a play date with him sometime. He plans on spending lots of time at the dog parks/dog beach for the rest of his life so the odds are good. Haha. I posted some pictures of our beach day in my first Dog Beach thread. You should add some if you had a chance to take any!

Aw! It was the same for me. I was wearing a sun dress and it was just WAY too cold for that (I wasn't thinking cause it was like 80 degrees at my house). And we brought one sweatshirt and another dog walked over to it and peed on it!!! My mom's dog hated it and he had to stay leashed cause he wouldn't come when he was called either. It's not a bad place to practice off-leash training though. Lots of distractions. Rivers won't let me or my boyfriend leave his sight so if we walk somewhere he will follow...especially if we have his ball! Good luck. Hopefully Rivers and Xena can meet sometime for a beach play date! Did you get any pictures?

How was the beach?! Did your puppy have a good time? I hope it wasn't as cold and gloomy as Saturday afternoon when we went (we still had a lot of fun, but we did NOT dress well for cold weather).

I am trying to treat a health issue with my youngest right now, so until that is under control we can't go

Hey! I am actually planning on going this coming Saturday in the afternoon. (My mom and sister want to join me so I am going after my sister's soccer game). It will probably be after 3. Later than I wanted, but last time we went it was like 4-6:30 and the weather was perfect (plus we got to see the sunset!). Hopefully the weather is nice again If you can make it then Rivers and I would love to meet you and your pup!
