We rescued her from a Virginia Rescue group. I think all pure breed dogs have issues unique to their breed. Scarlett has a more timid temperment than some other GSD lines, but as far as health issues, nothing significant. She does appear to have seasonal allergies which affect her eyes. She's only 4, so unfortunately, more issues may arise later, but that happens even with mixed breeds.
Hi Scarlettsmom...you've got a very beautiful dog. If you dont mind me asking, where did you get her? I was told that white dogs have "hereditary" issues or perhaps more problems than a typical german shepherd...have you heard of this?
