We're liking it. We havent really been able to venture too far yet because they messed up our pay pretty good which seems to happen every time we move so we're taking it easy and trying to get everything situated before we venture to DC and explore and all that.
The weather has been nice. Kinda warm so not happy with that. Have to crank the AC whenever we get into the car it gets so warm. Humidity isnt as annoying most of the time though. The base we're at is tiny compared to lejeune though. Its strange lol. Otherwise going well. The cats have adjusted but the dogs are annoyed because we've not been able to really allow them out too much because Shasta decided to start her first heat about a week and a half ago so she's currently not reliable without being tethered to me and Riley is cranky because she wont leave him alone and rotating them only brings about a howling/ screaming match between them.
Hey! How's it going down there?! So far we're liking MD. There is a lot here that reminds us of home. For me, its especially the planes and jets flying overhead all the time that does it. Hope you guys are doing well!
IT'S SNOWING!!!!! I'm so excited!!!! It started about 7:30 this morning and was more sleet and now theres actual flakes falling. I went for a walk to check mail since i hadnt dont that pretty much all week. It was cold but totally awesome! Cant wait for more!
oh yeah VERY jealous!!! Supposedly we're getting "some" snow tomorrow morning. and then its supposed to turn back into rain. We'll see. Just means ice if thats the case which will have people around here freaking out anyway but it'll be something!!! I wish we could go spend a weekend in the mountains. That would be nice! Glad you guys enjoyed it!
I'm up in jacksonville at Camp Lejeune actually. i'm praying for snow more than once this winter lol. I'm thoroughly enjoying the cooler night tonight for sure!!!
