The power of dog: Cabal
Some of you may know Neil Gaiman. He's a writer of mostly horror/fantasy-type books. I recently came across a post he did about his dog, Cabal, who had unexpectedly passed away.
In it, he quotes from a poem by Kipling, words that speak true:
Quote:
THERE is sorrow enough in the natural way
From men and women to fill our day;
And when we are certain of sorrow in store,
Why do we always arrange for more?
Brothers and sisters, I bid you beware
Of giving your heart to a dog to tear
