Forgive me for straying slightly off topic here, but what is a "whisky puppy"? Is that the breeder you like? Or am I way off?

Pattyobrien and I both got our puppies from the same breeder and the sire of our pups was a dog named Whisky.

So sorry for your loss. So terrible to lose one so young. There are different stages of grief. I myself like to be prepared for what happens. It is horrible to lose an old dear friend but I can't imagine the sudden shock of losing one so young. It might be a big wakeup call for people like me that are complaisant thinking well my dogs are young I won't have to deal with this for a long time and protect our babies better.

Patty,
Im deeply sorry for your loss, I myself and dealing with a traumatic loss of my baby girl due to IMHA. I know the hurt you are feeling and the shock you are still in and all the small things you will miss about him.
Be strong and think of the good and not the bad.
