Thanks, everyone, for your kind words. I know I will have another GSD one day, but for right now I really miss my Little Bear.

I've been waiting for this post...
Thanks for writing out the details and sharing her last days with us (and the pics on fb). It seems like she rallied for you to give you good memories before she went on. I'm relieved for you that your prayer was answered and the angels came for her, and left the pink rose for you. Their days with us here are few, but they live in our hearts forever.

Thanks, Elsie & Carolina. I'm sitting here crying all over again. That being said, I'm very grateful for the 9+ years I had with my Little Bear and so glad that she didn't suffer. Their lives are far too short!
