My family's beloved Female GSD, was stolen out of our back yard on 6/18/08. She is a year and a half, about 80 lbs, spayed, black and rust colored, and she doesn't have dew claws on her front legs. She was last seen at my home in Alexander, NC, close to Asheville, NC. If you have any idea where she might be please cont
act me! Here is a pic of Maya!
Another one to potentially check - Craig's List-Charlotte - listed on, I think, 12/11, for Monroe/Union County, with general description, no picture, but they've put this dog on lostfoundpets.
Thanks everyone, still no Maya...... I am checking everyday on the internet for her, but NOTHING. I hope she got a big nice piece of ham for Christmas...
Hi Rachel! You might have seen my post about losing Alex recently.
He tried petfinder, dogdetective, craigslist, findtoto.com, the Virginia Germans Shepherd Rescue who were so awesome and put a lost ad on their site, and posters.
In the end it was the posters that got him back, once they saw the posters they looked on craigslist, saw our ad and looked in all the other places I had said in the ad the I listed him.
Just some ideas. I hope someone scans her soon! We will be praying for you!
Awww, I am so happy you got Alex back.... But in our case, Maya was stolen, and I think the people who have her have hid her well. We've tried everything... All the sites you have listed +. Maya is just 2 yrs old, so she has alot of life left in her, so surly one day she will be scanned!!!! That's our only hope right now!
I'm sure you were glad to get Alex back....What a great ending!
Hi everyone, still no Maya.... Thanks for checking in on this thread, I promise I will let you guys know if we find her. I still check the internet almost everyday for Maya. She will have been gone for 1 yr in June. I pray she is happy.
