Female Sable GSD Missing from Indianapolis Indiana 02/07/2013 REWARD

Either unbuckled collar by self to escape from trolley, or was taken. So no collar, but is microchipped. Unlike her to wander off. 9 years old, needs medications. Semi retired (due to health issues) service dog. Loves people and other animals, responds to the name Tessa. Has broken top right canine tooth, and enlarged bone beneath left hock due to growth plate injury as a pup. Trouble seeing well in the dark. Has separation anxiety, once broke a wire at the top of a crate to stick her head through and nearly strangle/hang herself.

I'm a wreck. I've spent all day looking for her. Driven around a few different times, went to animal control, left a flyer with animal control, stopped at multiple vets to leave information, called more vets, posted craigslist ad, signed up with 7 or so lost/found pets websites so far. Sent info to Indy Lost Pets. Suggestions for more welcome. Going to go to more vets tomorrow and plaster flyers around, as well as door to door with neighbors, only spoke with a few of them so far.

I posted on facebook, but I didn't set up a specific page, good idea! Any clue how to go about that? Like... I can make a specific page and not have to start another account I think? And it doesn't have to be set up as a group does it? I've never done that sort of thing.

Southside! But I'd say look for her anywhere..... I'm REALLY afraid someone tried to take her, I don't understand how she could get the collar unbuckled herself. She's no spring chicken and has some health issues plus the severe separation anxiety so hopefully if that happened they decide to return her for the reward!

I'm positive she's in someones house by now, since I drove around such a large area calling for her. So I hope if someone found her and took her in they get her scanned for microchip ASAP so I can get a call! I don't know how I'm going to get any sleep tonight, and I only got about 4 non consecutive hours last night. But the adrenaline won't stop.

I'm considering going to the media. I'm a very shy and private person, but god I'd do anything to get her back. Service dog belonging to young struggling disabled women goes missing... I think someone would bite.

I've run into way too many people who have made comments like "If I found a dog without a collar I'd just keep it" to relax for a minute...
