Default Lost GSD Howell, MI

My dog got under the fence and ran off tonight. I've already been out for over 3 hours looking for him. He is 13 Months old and is named "Blitz". He ran off near Allen Rd and Byron Rd in Howell. He has a black Dogtra collar on. He is an intact male and weighs about 75 lbs. Being that it is now Sunday, and no shelters/vets are open, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to find him besides driving around and putting up flyers? Thank you for any help you can give. We are devastated and will do whatever it takes to bring him home.

Call your local Animal Control.....even if they are closed, leave a message describing your dog and where he was last seen.
Call your local Police Dept (not 911)....explain to them and ask them to PLEASE keep an eye out for your dog.
Call the local Emergency Vet....explain to them, give a solid description of your dog.
Call the local Vet Clinics and leave a message, explaining and describing your dog....and where it was last seen.

You can call Vet Clinincs even when they are closed and leave messages and descriptions......just because they are "closed" does not mean that there is no staff that may go in and out during the closed hours.

Good Luck!

Thank you. I've called and left messages with everyone that had an answering machine. I'm going to go drive around more and look. We are on 10 acres and the majority of a 5 mile radius is woods and farm land. It's hard to see much from the road in the middle of the night, but I can't just sit and wait.

Is there anyone with a female in heat nearby? He may have dug under due to that.
I wish you the best in finding him, I'm sure you are going crazy.
