Exclamation Please Help! Lost GSD!!

My friends German Shepherd Dog, Juelle, was stolen or ran off on March 7, 2011. They have been looking for her since then. She's sable in color, female (spayed), and has a tattoo in the right ear. She's trained with German Commands (Platz, Fuss, etc)!

Please help my friend find her dog!! It's important to the both us, and our families that Juelle is found!!

Was your friend's dog micro chipped or registered with the county?

I remember finding a dog next to my door step when in school. It was a GSD mix, small in size (around 40 lbs). I really wanted to keep him, but like a good citizen, I called the police who directed me to animal control who directed me to dog shelters, and they were able to link the dog with its true owners.

Also, is your friend's dog listed with the AKC and has dog tags with his DNA # and phone number?

My recommendations :

1) Walk his regular walk paths.
2) DO NOT hesitate to shout his name or commands he is familiar with. if he is being held against his will, he might at least bark.
3) Contact the police, the county, the local dog shelters and rescues.
4) Print paper posters with his pictures, put in a reward and post fliers all over the place.
5) Contact the micro-chipping company (or what ever) and ensure his micro chip ID is linked to your phone number address correctly, and find ways to back track.
6) kids : the biggest unemployed, with plenty of spare time, natural resource! Employ them. Announce a reward to the local kids, who ever finds the dog, gets $500!! Thats like a $5 million adult amount of money to a kid. Get the kids looking! They can look where we cant!
7) Was your dog in heat? contact the local vet and ask him for the network.

&

8) Pray!! And keep the door open and porch lights on!

Good luck!
