She knows 6 signs-I hope She gets to use them, she worked hard

What are the circumstances of her disappearance? Statistically, she was probably NOT stolen. Yes, dogs get stolen, yes people compliment them and say things like "I wish I had a dog like that," but it's hard enough to rehome most dogs as it is, the reality is that generally someone isn't going to steal your dog to keep as a pet for themselves.
So the likely answer here is that she's simply lost. Where did she disappear from? A fenced in backyard? How high of a fence? Was she loose? Obviously she was alone, so I won't ask about that, but since you didn't mention someone breaking into your house I'm assuming you put her outside and at some point, realized she was gone. Was this a fenced yard? Was she tied up? In a kennel? Fenced (how high), etc. Dogs travel a shockingly long distance in a short period of time. Lots of fliers close to and far away from your house. People might be traveling through your area for x event, see her, think she's a stray, pick her up and travel back home 30 minutes away. So lots of fliers, ads in feed stores, petstores, vet offices, etc. Was she microchipped? Was she wearing a snug fitting collar with current READABLE ID tags? |

OMG! Your post really stood out to me because my 8-month-old female German Shepherd Dog, Kibble, looks almost identical to yours. She was stolen/missing on 12/15/11. I'm really scare that I won't be able to see her again since she's not microchipped. Right now, I can only hope that whomever has her is treating her well. I really really miss her.
