Did you find him?
I drove around the area and didn't see anything.
Good luck!

Nope, nothing new. He is tired and and scared, but as of 10:30 this morning was ok, not hurt, etc. My hunch is he is hiding out for now. Lots of good thoughts for our boy...

You probably went there and parked in the same spot and walked the same path.
That's what I would do. He might have gotten the leash caught on something.
Hoping for the best.

Thanks everyone. He is in total flight mode. My husband was 10 feet away from him this morning and he just bolted...

I wouldn't expect him to typically seek out other dogs. He is aloof, but savvy. I don't worry about his survival alone in the woods, my concern is he will get spooked by something and in his hurry to get outta there will run into traffic.

We have everyone we know going to Ashland areas to walk their dogs tomorrow and get the word out. Flyers posted, web sites updated, emails out...

No news. We have had sightings, leash dragging and all, but Trooper seems to be elusive and isn't showing that furry face during the daylight. He's about a mile from home so we continue to be hopeful!

Did you alert AC to about him being missing/ lost? Maybe they can help you catch him when you have a sighting again. Hope all goes well and good luck. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Is he on a flat collar? I would worry that the leash will get him hooked up. Prayers for him to get hungry enough, bring out some bacon or smelly meat and see if he'll be enticed enough to come to you.

Default Trooper is home!

TROOPER HAS BEEN FOUND! He was still dragging his leash (my primary concern) has some bumps and bruises but will survive to see another adventure.

I was amazed at the outpouring of support and assistance the entire community gave us to help get our boy home. We worked very closely with Cheryl from the Town of Ashland Animal Control. SHE WAS WONDERFUL.

I will work to get a pix posted.
