I agree and understand, however, if I had ever had intentions of doing something heinous, it would make it a lot easier for me if I heard repeatedly how easy it was to do.
Still no word on Hex. But a female Mal that was presumed stolen out of her kennel inside the garage in Nevada was found running along the road on the other side of the city. She's back home safe after someone recognized her from a poster. Hopefully Hex will be found soon. To help Hex's owner raise money to defray costs of searching and add to the reward, there's a group making bracelets with his tattoo and chip number and selling them for $5. If you're interested, go to the fb page
I was so hoping for a good update on Hex, I haven't been searching for the past two days online because my week has gotten busy due to school work. When I'm finished I will keep searching far and wide.
OMG. That is disgusting. My stomach just knotted up, thinking of him wondering where in the **** he was and when his people were going to find him. People like that should be shot, and god help their kids if they have any. I hope they find them and prosecute them.
This is one of my favorite quotes and I think it applies for this situation...
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Hex will be waiting for you in heaven, Al. My heart goes out to you.
The Govedniks and close friends are in deep mourning at this time.. But still they move forward and are delivering Hex to Chicago for an investigative autopsy. It is a shame as to what extreme some people will go to in order to "get even"... The body was positioned perfectly so it would be found on training day at the Govedniks. - how cruel are these person/persons ? I weep...... our hearts are broken...
So sad. Who on Earth would do such a thing to "get back" at the owner, and for what?? My thoughts are with the family, and I hope they find the creep that did this and lock him up for a long time.
I did too, Lee. I can't fathom the sorrow of the family.
I hope that with the high profile case that this is, tougher laws on animal cruelty and theft are enacted. A friend of mine lost a show horse from poison many years ago, all because she was winning. This needs to be taken more seriously legally.
This news breaks my heart. My thoughts go out to the family that lost this sweet, amazing animal. Why would someone do this to an innocent dog? How are pieces of s**t void of any conscience allowed to walk the earth? I just don't understand. May you rest in peace Hex... you did not deserve this. And I hope those responsible get what THEY deserve.
I wonder whether there was some minor slight or major confrontation or even percieved issue at wherever Al trains, and some serial-killer-in-training has taken revenge on him. How do you check out a training club, or even all the people he might have competed against recently?
But it sounds very much aimed at dog-training.
Whoever did this is dangerous, and has no conscience. I wish I still believed that God is a God of Thunder and Lightning Bolts. Because there is a ripe subject for one.
This is making my blood boil. I feel so terrible for the owners.
i hope who ever did this suffers immensely. There is a special place in **** for child abusers and animals abusers. So very disappointed with this outcome. My heart goes out to Hex's family. I read the update and broke down in tears. Very sad day.
Seems to be pointing to that. His owner Al is a well known trainer and judge so it could be someone with a grudge against him. Regardless and beautiful innocent life was wasted
Read this on the group earlier and sooo sad to hear. hex you will be missed and your family is in my prayers
