Default Found Male German Shepherd at Joe Huber Family Farm, Starlight Indiana 47106

Today my husband and I found a male german shepherd at our family farm in Starlight Indiana. The farm is located 20 mins from Louisville, KY and 15 mins from New Albany, IN and Sellersburg, IN. The dog is very sweet and I noticed he has vision problems. I took him to a local vet to see if he was microchipped and he isn't. The vet checked his teeth and ears and they were extremely clean and shiny. The vet said he had been well taken care of and that he did have something wrong with his eyes, cataracts maybe? But without further testing he wouldn't know for sure. The dog is very well behaved. The dog wasn't wearing a collar when we found him. I have taken pictures of the dog, if you think it might be yours please contact me and I can email you pics. My email address is manymoonsmarketing@yahoo.com.

Thank you,

Juliana Jordan-Huber

i don't think all scanners detect all chips
because of frequency levels and coding.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away.

Posts like these get my hopes up even if the odds are small. Does he hobble and have a broken ear? Thanks.

He doesn't hobble or have a broken ear. I'm hoping for a happy ending for your dog and this lovely dog that came into our life. If you're still interested in seeing a photo, please email me at manymoonsmarketing@yahoo.com.

Thank you,

Juliana

My guess would be that this dog has Pannus (a growth on the eye that looks almost like tissue and causes blindness) and unless treated immediately with drops from Vet, it will get worse quickly. It cannot be cured but arrested. Is it possible that living on a farm, someone dropped it off? Prayers for the pup.
