German Shepherd Found URGENT (Woodbridge -Cardinal Dr/Mendoza Lane)

Purebread Young male german shepherd found on Cardinal Drive near Mendoza Lane (Garfield Police station) in Woodbridge. Black and Tan with black collar, but no tags. Very sweet and trusting disposition - hopped right in the car to get him out of the middle of the highway. He was taken to the police station for placement in their overnight kennel, and will be delivered to Prince William County Animal Shelter Friday morning. If anyone wants a beautfiul young purebred with gentle personality, please, please contact the shelter ASAP. Please contact for info or details if further information is necessary. Thank you.

Jax not 100% sure but think it's Virginia. Woodbridge and prince william county are both virginia areas and woodbridge VA IS in prince william county so I'm pretty sure its a safe bet.

I just spoke with the police station where we took the dog last night and they advised that the owner called and claimed him last night. Apparently he had jumped the fence in their back yard. So, he is back home (and hopefully the owner will purchase a tag and supervise him in the yard) Thank you to everyone who responded and offered their help!
