Missing- B/R male Chicago, IL
VIA CRAIGSLIST Posted 9/7/10
**REWARD**  ~~~German Shepherd~~Male~~Black/Red...Stolen From: 600 North & 4000West. HAD his Rabie Tag//Name Tag STILL on him when he was Stolen. 2 Men cut the FENCE and stole him. REWARD for INFO. leading to recovery of MY German Shepherd. Does NOT like Men. Loves women. We believe he is being used as a K9 security dog...Warehouse,Fenced Yard....PLEASE COPY HIS PICTURE....He has a Lump on his head...High energy,LOUD. I have had him since he was 3 mos. old. He is 3 Years Old. Been together with small dogs/cats...loves ALL animals...He is very well socialized with dogs/cats/horses/birds. He LOVES to get in the car & goes right to Sleep. Totally GREAT with Children...PLEASE Help Find My Best Friend. SUSAN 708-299-2850

Susan, What is his name? He won't come to me since I'm a guy? I live at Western and Division and walk all the time. I'll keep my eyes open. and I took your number down.
Is the lump on his head the only thing to help distinguish (spell?) him? Josh

I saw this on Craigslist.
There are several stolen dogs listed right now on craigslist. Someone stole a male and a female Doberman from their owners yard.

i just thought....isn't it going to be a hard task to steal a GSD or doberman? I mean, both are protective/territorial. I just don't see either going without a fight...

I was thinking the same thing. Esp due to the fact that this dog doesn't like males, and men took him. But it could have been done with a catch pole. Poor guy, just another reason to distrust men.
