Zoe is our newly adopted girl. I was hoping that Zoe would get a happier introduction to the board in a nice photo with her new big brother and sister. She is staying in the same area and has been seen multiple times by multiple people in the neighborhood. They've been terrific about letting us know whenever she is seen, but so far WE haven't seen her.

She's only 1-2 blocks from our home, but didn't even make it there before getting loose so it wouldn't mean anything to her and 1-2 blocks from the local SPCA branch. Just walk to the SPCA, Zoe! Please just walk to the SPCA!

Well - sort of. We were the "transport". We met the prior owners in Baltimore (they were moving away from Fredricksburg, VA). I've transitioned the other two to raw, but didn't want to start Zoe out with pork and fish which is all I had in the house right then so we stopped at the grocery store to get chicken.

After the 2 hour drive on such a hot day, Brian got out of the car to wait in a shady spot and try to get her to drink some water. She zigged, he zagged and she pulled out of the collar (I had insisted on taking off the choker she was on because I was worried about her getting caught on the car barrier).

Anyway, that was Sunday. We go out early in the morning, later in the evening and walk and walk and call her. Several neighbors are also helping to look and have been so supportive. We're planning to try a trap and have had someone with tracking experience come down to give us tips. She is staying in the same area - a very large cemetery and is only a few blocks from home or (almost as good) a few blocks from the SPCA.

She is in Montgomery County - Abington township and seems to be staying in the Hillside Cemetery which runs through the neighborhoods of Roslyn and Ardsley.

Thanks Linda - that's very sweet of you to offer. We're heading out shortly to walk the side of the cemetery where she was seen most recently and go door to door with flyers.

Even though she seems to be staying local, I am trying to get the word out as much as I can. It would be great if someone who "gets" GSDs finds her as she is very shy of strangers.
