Clarks Summit, PA FOUND male GSD "Champ"
A friend just informed me about a FOUND GSD who was picked up wandering around the Clarks Summit area. He is very thin and frightened. A "Tracey's Hope" Volunteer has him. He is approximately 1 yr old and had "Champ" on his collar.
If you can foster or help this guy find his home, contact "Nicole" at (570) 903-3936 ASAP. __________________________________________________ _____ I will search craigslist and other websites to see if anyone posted a listing about this guy.

Thank you Ruth... I'm looking into both contacts RIGHT NOW!! I'll let everyone know how we turn out... I'm really hoping to help this poor guy get home... Sean and I need all the good karma we can get (still looking for Vinnie)

Just want to add....he is safe though. If his home is not found...and this rescue will make every attempt...he is safe in their rescue.....confirmed through correspondence with them. They are not going to be looking for a rescue to take him.

Thats great to hear Mary... I can not get ahold of Nicole... her voice mailbox is full... Can you ask them if they looked into it being either the Iron Pigs Dog or the one from Carsile? I do not have the number of the shelter affiliated with this GSD otherwise I would have called myself

This is the rescue that has him (not a shelter):
http://petservicesbydenise.com/ They were contacted by a gsd rescue that offered to take him...but they said he is safe with them. They are attempting to find his owner. Could you email them? I'm just going in way too many directions right now... Thanks!

It looks like the Iron Pigs dog was found! I had emailed them about the Champ in this thread and I got a message back just now saying that he was found in Allentown. Here's a link with more info.

Thanks for the updates, Karin and Mary.
I will let the rescue know about the one from out west but she e-mailed me back and asked if he had a green collar... so I don't think it's going to be him either
