New German Shepherd (Mina)

Hello, I've been browsing this forum the past few weeks and have found a lot of information to help me and my new puppy.I figured I would introduce myself and my puppy so I could say thank you to all those who provided the much needed trips and tricks. I am new owner of a 7 week old purebred German Shepherd named Mina. She is the first German Shepherd I've owned, I've had rescues in the past and still own two. It's a big adjustment for myself and Mina as we are learning together. Mina is a very loving (borderline Klingy) Germanline Working dog, her descendants were police dogs and she is very smart for only being 7 weeks old. She already knows five commands pretty consistently if we are in a low distraction area, and takes to being socialized very well. I hope in the time ahead as she grows we will find what training works for her, get past the " land shark stage" and be able to sleep alone in her crate with minimal pee breaks. Thank you all for the knowledge and the willingness to share it with others.

Beautiful girl you have there!! I personally never owned a GSD pup that young but if she is clingy then just eat it up! You have come to the right forum. Enjoy your girl. I hope you have many great years with her.

It is a poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.
