Are these his puppy pics?
Meet diesel from upstate ny

Your dog looks like a patterned sable from the pic you posted, but the puppies in the pic are definitely black and tan.

Do you have any more current pics?

Hi the pic I posted is recent and the pics of the puppy is him.the one pic of the puppies is him and his litter he is right in the front.

Do you have any more recent pictures from different angles and in different light? I'd swear your dog is a sable, but that can not be possible judging from the puppy pictures. A black and tan puppy does not change into sable adult.

He could even be bi-colour, with the dark pigment extending down his chest and his abdomen area, but the black on him does not look solid black - it looks like he has a lighter under coat. In black and tans, the undercoat of the black areas is also solid black, and in the pic above, he seems to have a tan undercoat peeking through the guard hairs.

Do you have a pedigree with pics of the parents? Seeing the coloring of the parents can help determine the coloring of the offspring.
