Default Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone! My name is Christine. I'm 25 years old, just got married, bought a house, and welcomed a new german shepherd puppy into my family. His name is Bryce. He's almost ten weeks old and besides puppy biting, he's an amazing little guy. I'm looking forward to getting great advice from experienced owners since this is our first shepherd.

He's cute, welcome to the site.

Advice:

Don't take him to pet stores or dog parks until he's had his third set of shots.

Start checking around for a good set of puppy classes you can start with him in a week or two once he is settled in your home.

Treasure every moment, and put all your other treasures way up high for the rest of the year or so.

Good luck.

thanks so much for the replies and advice! Just curious but is there a name for his coloring? can you tell what he will look like more or less when he gets older?

Looks like he will be either a black and tan saddle or blanket back. My guess would be blanket back.
What a cute pup, congratulations!

I'd guess black and tan blanket back as well. He has just a few tips of tan on the face, and not much brown on the ears, so I am guessing blanket over saddle. He will be perfect.
