Default New GSD owner!

hello! Our family has a new pup "Husker" that is 11 weeks old. We have had him 3 weeks. He is a smart doggie and his bloodlines are excellent. We are enjoying teaching him new things. We have always had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi before, so our Shepherd is a new experience for us. Looking forward to all the good advice on this forum!
Here is a pic of him at 8 weeks and more recently...

Cute pup. He's probably already as big as the corgi. You're in for some fun times. Welcome to the forum.

Kayos and Havoc -- Our Corgi was so wonderful. He had a winter coat when cold and a summer coat when hot. He did not smell and was super friendly. He acted like a vibrant and happy dog till the end and I would not hesitate to get another corgi! Everyone loved him!!!
We are excited to learn new things about our GSD and hoping for another great pet experience. So far, we are loving this breed also! (Wish we could have more than 1 doggie!) I can see that this forum has a lot of great expertise~

Apsel, yes, he is as tall now, but not quite as "fluffy!" HA! Growing up we adopted some shelter dogs that were larger, so I'm hopeful I can adapt quickly!
