Default New to this and dog owner need a lot of advice

I have a one year old gs named it ozzie I got him when he was 6 months but then I moved and left him with my mom and he's been in the back yard in a coral because my mom can't handle him and I want to bring him with me but he's not trained or anything would it be hard to train him and make him be my buddy? I live alone and get off work early so I know I'll have time to spend with him but idk how to do it or what to do any advice or tips thanks in advance

Find a club and start with OB classes. The club I use is very reasonable, just check around. You can use "how to" videos, and they do help, but best to have someone with experience to help guide you along. They will help you avoid training problems that may otherwise be very difficult to undo.

I agree finding a good club or training centre would be very helpful to start you off on the right foot

And how much do those clubs or classes cost? I think he's really hyper because wen I go down to visit the fam that's the only time he's able to be running around and that's every 2 weeks and I don't like that he's all trapped that's why I want to bring him with me he's been like that for 2 months already. He's a very smart dog but he just needs love and attention
