Hi, I am a new member here from Canada and will be getting a German Shepherd dog within the year. I am at a spot in my life where I can now have one after many years of waiting patiently. I loved this breed of dog since I was a child and am here to continue to learn and become an even more responsible person to ensure a long lasting relationship between my family and our new addition.

Welcome and congrats on being so patient and responsible.

I am sure you'll be rewarded with a wonderful pup in the near future!

Welcome from Ontario! Where are you getting your puppy from, if I may ask?

To be honest that is one of the reasons I am here. We are very open about where to get it from. It may be an hour from home or may make a trip to pay a visit to a breeder who has just what we need. Definitely within North America, but we are looking for a registered female with good bloodlines and personality traits. I hope that makes sense. We would even consider a dog up to a year old, even a rescue. We are not looking to breed her once she becomes part of us.

Welcome from the Newmarket Ontario vicinity. Good luck with your search. With so many dogs in rescue, I hope you can find one there to adopt.

Welcome from...Ontario. I have cousins in Keswick
Good luck in your search. I like the idea of a rescue. So many dogs, so few homes
