Default Newbie from Arkansas!

Hi! My name is Kim. I currently own two GSDs and am in school to become a dog trainer.
My first is a spayed female named Sabine who is a shelter rescue. Her previous owner decided that growing marijuana in his apartment was a great idea and when he went to jail she was confiscated and put up for adoption. Thankfully I saw her and was able to take her home the same day!
The second is a nine week old puppy I have named Leer. She is AKC registered and I have seen both her parents (who are definitely GSDs), but I'm a little unsure if she is full blood. Maybe someone more experienced could tell me what they think? Her coat was in very poor shape due to malnutrition and worms and my vet said her overcoat should regrow. He thinks she is 100% GSD, but I haven't really seen enough puppies to be able to say for certain. Either way I love the little goober. She's a hoot! Her ears are slowly standing up bit by bit.

(I uploaded these from my phone, so I apologize if they're sideways.)

student dog trainer! I am sure Sabine & Leer will help you with your studies I agree with your vet - Leer looks purebred and I think it could be her sable coat that makes her look different to you.

Thank you Mary Beth! After much research and discussion with GSD breeders I am confident she is purebred. Her coloring and coat length just threw me off.
