Hi there. I've owned GSDs all my life and adopted another best friend recently - a German bloodline male. I'm going to be training him as a service dog for myself and bite work. He's doing very well in both areas already. He is almost 14 weeks old. He is the smartest GSD I've ever owned.

I also have a 6 year old female American bred GSD who comes from conformation bloodlines. She has Pannus unfortunately.

My baby boy is black sable and my lady is red sable.

I had to put down a rescue GSD about 6 months ago. She was 11.

This post sounds incredibly gloomy! Let me just say - all is great and I'm happy to have found this forum.

Pannus is worse as the elevation climbs. Less atmosphere to filter out the UV a/b. Get some doggles for when she is out in the sun, helps a great deal.

Never cook bacon while naked.
