Thank you. They are both solid black with Norse themed names. Skadi is for the ice giantess of skiiing and mountains, a fierce bitch which is appropriate, Grim means Mask in Norse and is also a Harry potter reference- you know, the black dog Harry kept seeing that Trelawney thought was a harbinger of death but that was actually Sirius Black? Also, a good classic name for a GSD.

Yup, I know exactly what you are talking about.

In "Prisoner of Azkaban" the Grim looks just like my GSD.

My GSD's name is actually "Sinister Black", when I told my mom that I named him Sinister she said "oh like Sinister Black from Harry Potter?" LOL, nope that's Sirius Black but I kept the "Black" part anyways because he's all black.

Sinister Black is such a cute name. Do you call him Sin? Sometimes I call Skadi Skadi Beowulfa, WolfBat, or just Woofer because she has actually been mistaken for a wolfdog with her wedge shaped head, and flat forehead. She looks quite wolfy. Grim looks more like a GSD with his larger snout.

I call him Sin and Sinny a lot, I sometimes use Sinner and Sinista too.
