Any Aussies on here?

This forum is awesome and has given me so much more information (especially that invaluable kind that you can't get from books but only from people who actually live with a GSD). But of course being an Aussie some of our brand names for food etc are different and the way hips/elbows are scored too etc. So it would just be an extra help to know if there is anyone else from this side of the world who doesn't mind chatting about our fur babies. You can PM me or just reply if interested.

Thanks Jenni

They'll most likely find you tomorrow, I know at least two are on here. Kinda thought you were talking about the dogs though!

Hi Tottie,

Is that an all black GSD you have there? How old? You have another dog too?

So just wondering what you feed your dog in terms of meals, treats and chews. My girl Penny has a sensitive stomach so it's hard to find something she can chew on. I get people telling me to get rawhide bones all the time but I've also heard they're bad.

Penny is our first dog and GSD (although I grew up with one). Do you have much experience with them? How much training have you done? So many questions!! Lol! Thanks for replying.

Regards,
Jenni

Hello, Sydney here

if your GSD is eating and eating and eating and losing weight - please consider testing for EPI.

Hi Andrea.....and Harry and Lola! Have you done a lot of training with your fur babies? Do you have to be careful re exercise with them having some health issues?

I only do obedience training, however I don't do so much with Lola now as I think the constant 'halting' etc may be uncomfortable for her because of her HD, I do notice she is reluctant sometimes, but I do more with Harry. Do you do any OB or agility training with Penny?
