Previous GSD parent now living vicariously by current parents

Hi all,
I am excited to join this group. My boyfriend and his family had a German Shepard before I meet him and then I came along and loved the little fella (actually quite large) so much. Unfortunately one morning I found him and he had passed away in the middle of the night. We are not sure what caused his death but we have not been able to agree if we should get another since. So for now I will live vicariously through all of your puppies!

I'm sorry for your loss! Don't be discouraged about the breed - we'll never know what led to the death of your puppy.

You'll see each other one day at the Rainbow Bridge.

Sorry to hear you guys lost him, sounds like you grew attached. Who knows, maybe down the road the right pup will come along.
