Default New guy

Howdy yall new guy on the site. Already been reading and learning a bunch. I'm a new GSD owner we got our baby boy Zeus about 5 weeks ago and he has been a trip. By far the smartest dog we have ever owned. And he already has such a personality, he talks and argues with us all the time. The vet said he is going to be on the larger side for german shepards which is apparent he has more than doubled in size since we got him. He is 11 weeks and I'm pretty sure my wife said 24 lbs as of last Thursday. He's a pretty boy and we love him very much I'll put a few pics in the picture section but I'm sure everyone thinks there dog is the cutest. ( but I know ours is lol jk.) Anyway good to meet yall. Have a great day.

24 lbs isn't huge, he still may be well within standard when finished. It's always best to keep them lean especially while they're growing

Mine was 18lbs when he was 8 weeks and old enough for me to grab him. Last time I weighed him he was 70lbs at 6 months. They double about every weekend and finally start to slow their growth!

If he's giving you attitude now just wait until the teenage months !
