New GSD owner, from Portugal!

Hello!

I've just joined the forum after buying my first GSD today! It's a girl and her name is Kia, she's 2 months next week!

I have a question; when should I start to train her? I'm still trying to gain her trust and I'm really surprised over the fact that she licks me and already follows me after being with me for like only 6 hours! :o

I wasn't provided with a pedrigree or anything like that, do you think she's purebreed? I saw the parents and they look like it. Dark coloured mother and tan father.

She's the girl on the left, as you can see in the first picture, the GSD on the right was also bought by a family member.

Congratulations! She looks like a GSD to me. I'm no expert, but we started potty training right away, but held off on OB till after they settled in a bit.

Thank you! Well I think I'll start with the potty training then. I'm also considering in taking her to dog training classes in a school nearby once she turns 4-6 months. Her brother (1st picture) will attend so I thought she could join her sister hehehe.

Classes are great, nice way to get socialisation in a controlled environment. The facility we used wouldn't let us have our litter mates in the same class for "attention" purposes, but they lived together, yours don't, so probably not an issue. Both pups are very cute!

Thank you and thanks for all the tips!
