Hello from Alberta - New GSD pup

Hello all. I have got myself a new Working line GSD to add to my Beautiful Boxers.

I have a lot of experience with the working line as my father bred GSD's when I was young and we always had them around it was an amazing thing to grow up with a constant army of German Shepherds.

I got my Beautiful GSD just 4 days ago and he was born beginning of November. He was the most balanced of the group and was very intelligent even as a young 8-9 week old pup. So I chose him. The breeder was interested in my choice since it was the only pup with an very small Umbilical Hernia(it has been vet checked) which I intend to have repaired when Neutered. Of course I chose based on the dog not his minor defect which surprised them since these puppies are usually last to go.

Some pics to enjoy :)

Thanks all, he is amazing, all the common GSD puppy traits, flipping stainless water bowls, mouthing, whining, loving and quick to train. Could not have asked for better.

Pictures are posted up there hope you can see them fredh.

Been to the offleash park daily and he follows me without wandering and holds his chest and head high regardless of the other dogs and their size or bothering him.

Just and FYI. In my life I have chosen two puppies with umbilical hernias. Was never a problem. Had them repaired and that was that. Just in case you wondered.

Very beautiful little pup by the way.

Thanks Dutch, I have to say there is always a small worry in your mind when there is a visible problem but every owner should be just as worried since any puppies life is fragile just like ours.

but you comment does add a little ease, I will have it taken care of when he gets "fixed" also the fact it is so small to some I have seen in the past helps ease the worry too.
