Hello, everyone. My name is Lloyd. We got our GSD puppy, Scout, at 8 weeks about six weeks ago. We've always had dogs in the home, but this is our first GSD (and our first puppy in 20 years...I'd forgotten just how much energy puppies have!). So far, we couldn't have asked for much more from her...the biggest issues we have are getting her to take things GENTLY from our hands and being EASY with the cats. She gets along great with our six-year-old beagle mix and manages to control herself around our fifteen-year-old dachshund (he doesn't put up with ANY of her foolishness ). And yes, we have a house full!
We did not see Scout's parents, but they must have been huge. We last weighed her a couple of nights ago, and she was already 37.5 lbs (and in no way is that fat).

Welcome. Cute pup.

I would suggest getting her at least some basic obedience training. Shepherds are tempered a little different than your other pets. They need some direction and socialization

You are so going to enjoy her. They are smart little buggers.

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
