My name is zack, and I have been lurking on the forum for a few weeks now. I purchased my first German Shepard 6 weeks ago,and he is now 14 weeks old.

Just wanted to say hello and thank everyone for the knowledge that is here.

I was also curious everyone's opinion in the coloring my puppy wil have later on, because he began very dark, but has become much lighter in the last 6 weeks.

Welcome and I cant help you on what color your pup will be when it grows up, but just wanted to say he has a really sweet face and hes very handsome.:)

Sable, probably brown/black dark. Is he straight working lines? Or ? But he is cute good luck!

We do not know his background. I admit before purchasing him I knew very little and was not concerned with his background and everything. I did meet and see his parents and all of that, but did not do the extensive research that I will do the next time around.

He is a dark sable, he will get lighter but will go back to dark again, that is the beauty of Sables. :)
