Thinking about my first GSD

Hi,

It is great that there are forums like this, I've joined to learn about this breed to hopefully have a German Shepherd as a new companion.

It's good to learn them before getting one. I am learning the other way around. We got one unexpectedly and am now learning about them...lol..

Yup always great to know all the "perks" a GSD brings. I have been reading rigorously for a few months now. My puppy will be coming in July, so still months of reading to go.

When are you getting yours?

Congrats to you future GSD folks. You will have a lifetime of fun with them - I know I got my first GSD as a child 63 years ago!!

A GSD makes for a wonderful companion. Best to go into with eyes open. I did not find this forum until a few days after I got Fiona.
