Hello everyone,

My name is John. I was a member if this board a few years ago with my First GSD Dunchan. A lot has changed, my wife and I now have 2 children, my son is 9 ( i think that is about when I stopped posting-not enough time) and my Daughter is 5 going on 15. After we had to put Dunchan down 4 years ago we felt the time was right with the kids and our time constraints and so we have a new addition to the family, our 18 week old GSD pup Tasso. He is from Nadelhaus, the same breeder we purchased our first one from and is full of energy. Very smart, nearly house broken except for the occasional accident now when we are not on top of his cues but for the most part he has it. Interestingly, he is not a chaser. Dunchan had such a prey drive it was amazing. This guy would rather eat rocks, dirt and mulch than chase his toys. he is a nipper-and a barker as well. We are working on that -and we have him in the local AKC chapter puppy class for socialization and to refresh our memories on training since it’s been about 15 years since we had a puppy.
