Charleston, SC GS/Mastiff mix

Hi folks. Am in Charleston, SC. Have a 3 month old German Shep/Mastiff mix that I am now wondering if there isnt another mix in there somewhere, as just recently, the hair running along his back is becoming quite wavy?? This pic was taken about a month ago, so he has already tripled in size.
Anyhoo. I grew up with pure bred German Shepherds and they have always been my favorite dog. Trying to figure out how to break mine from biting and digging, so will be spending some time here.

Welcome to the forum. I don't see Bull Mastiff in your puppy,but he is still young. You'll notice more differences as he gets older.
