Hi! I have so many questions.

Hello,
I am a new puppy owner, for just over two weeks . She is a very intelligent strong minded little girl. I would love some advice of how to stop the puppy snaps, especially the ones aimed at our faces.

Thank you

Congrats on your first puppy btw. My shepherd tends to snap at food and treats still and he is 8 months old now. I wait until he takes his food nicely from my hand which he does sometimes but has never snapped our faces. How old is your puppy? If she is still just a very young puppy, I would start working on this right away because it could escalate in someone getting bitten if they are only little nips. I'm not an expert but you can try making loud noises with your mouth like "ahh" or an object that will startle her when she snaps at you. I know because I do this with my own puppy, some dogs have to be constantly reminded.

Thank you so much. She is 9wks.old. We have had her for 2.weeks now. She started with finger biting and progressed to snapping at faces and there is no nipping only full mouth biting. She is also aggressive with our 4 yr old lab. People have said she's alpha aggressive but I think she's to young to be.

Welcome to the board. Please take a look at the Puppy forums, there are lots of sticky threads with answers to all the questions you may have about raising a puppy, including how to deal with the biting.
