Default Hello from Columbus, OH!

Well, I'm at Fort Polk in Louisiana right now, but will be moving back to Columbus in a month or so (I hope!).

My name is Jordan, I'm a 28 year old male currently getting out of the Army to pursue my Private then Commercial Pilots license to become a Bush Pilot. I'm a 13B, Cannon Crewmember. Just waiting for my Medical Board to finish and get my final disability percentages and then I'm done.

The reason I'm here is pretty easy - I'm not experienced with this breed at all and want to learn about it before I decide to purchase or not.

I won't go into detail about the above as this is just the introductory space, so I'll look to ask more in-depth questions in the appropriate forum.

Thank you!

Default Hello from Columbus, OH!

Welcome and thank you for your service. Be prepared to fight the board. My dad had to until he was rated 100%. If you need it, GSD make good service dogs if you get the right temperament. Fiona is awesome.

Hi Jordan! I recently moved to Columbus myself-so happy I did, although the weather today left something to be desired.....

See, that's one thing I love about Ohio. I love winter and snow, so that kind of weather doesn't bother me at all. That's why I'd love to move somewhere like Maine or Alaska or Colorado.

I did live in Reynoldsburg for 7 years but I'm originally from near Marietta.

Welcome. Yes, there are a few Ohioans here. You've come at the right time if you like the winter weather! I can't wait for it to stop, though!
