Like a switch!

I'm so excited! Every since we got Belushi, she is the typical puppy, biting, gnawing and just a fluffy, sweet, beautiful mess. Every time we pet her she gnaws and bites (usually not too hard, but sometimes OUCH!) even if we give her one of her 8 million chew-things, cry-out, ignore, etc.,. It's hard to pet and love on her which sucks. But this morning, after taking her potty, she jumped up on the bed and I was waiting to be mauled and slapped, and she cuddled into me (spooning style) let me pet her on her chest, behind her ears, muzzle and there were plenty of kisses happening...and not one bite, chew or gnaw! This has been going on all morning, almost like a switch went off! you can see it in her eyes like she's thinking 'ohhh.... THIS is what they were trying to do" I LOVE this!!!

Sometimes they just get in a mood where the jaws stop. I like it when that happens because I too can pet her without the mouth following my hand.
