Hello from NC

Hello!
I am new to the forum & am excited to have found this site. I live in Columbus, NC with my wonderful husband, 4 children, 3 Yorkies and our 10 week old GSD puppy. I have always had a love for German Shepherds since I was a child. When I was growing up we had a beautiful girl named Amy and we also had GSD mix named Sampson we rescued from the shelter. When I first met my husband he already had a GSD name Heidi. She was very sweet & loving. We lost her several years ago. She is still missed!! Our GSD puppy is Mia. We got her the Sat before Christmas and she was 6 weeks old. She will be 11 weeks old this Saturday. She is amazing. She is so smart!! She has learned how to sit, shake, lay down, & roll over. We try to add a new command every week. We like for her to get them down pat before moving on to the next. Potty training is coming along. She was doing great until we had rain for a whole week & she didn't do so well so it set us back but we are back on track and she has only had a couple accidents in the last couple days. I love her so much already!!! She is very loving & I love when she wants to snuggle. I know I shouldnt but she does sit on the couch with us & sleeps on our bed along with our 3 Yorkies. Thank god for king sized beds lol!! I am so happy to have a GSD again. They are such a special breed. Thank you for listening to me go on & on! Hope to get to know several GSD lovers!!!
