Possible shepard mix

Adopted this little guy 3 weeks ago, and he was listed as a "mastiff mix". They thought he was mixed with shepard possibly, any thoughts? He is a good sized puppy, 28 lbs and exactly 3 months today.
His ears stand up higher some days, and others they go over his head to one side

Not a clue. But he's a handsome guy. Why do you think there is GSD mixed in there?

I was told by shelter that they thought he was mixed with a shepard bc of the masking and ears.

Head is not blocky enough and ears are up... he might have some pit bull but there is other stuff mixed in. Those do look like shepherd puppy ears.

The brindle coat looks like maybe a Dutch shepherd or mix: Dutch Shepherd

Dutch Shepherd mixed with something? Plott hounds can be brindle. Doesn't look pit bull to me. Are his feet webbed?

I don't know what he is but I want him. He is just so cute. Will look forward to seeing him grow up.
