My intro

I'm a 4th time GSD owner. Years ago my wife and I had a female sable who just stole our hearts. Ever since her, there is NO-OTHER Bread. There are other dogs but just not for us. We added to our family a Coated male we were a two dog family for 12 years. Fast forward 13 years after the 1st two passed got Griz. He was another AWESOME example of the bread and a wonderful family pet. Very driven but well behaved. At 6 years old he got lymphoma cancer and broke our hearts to loose him so early.

Now.. after saying we wouldn't do it again, we've done it again.. We figured if we were going to have another, we wanted a coated shepherd for a couple reasons. Obviously they are a little harder to find but we found a couple and made our choice.

Abby is home now with us since Xmas and is doing wonderful. She's constantly testing the waters of who's in charge and ornery as all get out, but thats expected. This isn't our first rodeo. Potty training was a little challenging but we have that under control now too. The only mistake we made was getting her for xmas. (Winter puppy) Potty training has been a bitch with the cold. With that said, she's become quite the snow bug and LOVES to play/eat the snow.

Anyways, enough rambling. I look forward being a part of the forum. I'll throw up some photos when I get a chance.

Thank you. I can't wait to see how her coat turns out when she's older. The mom and dad were both coats, both were gorgeous. The father was absolutely stunning... and Abby seems to take after him more than her..
