I've lurked off and on for the last year, and finally decided to join. I'm the (usually) proud owner of Leontine, aka Leo, an 11 month old female GSD, Ilka, a 3 year old female mutt, and Lucky, a 12 year old male Standard Rat Terrier. Rounding out the madness in the house are 8 cats, a bird, two autistic kids, and a husband.
![]() I've been showing Ilka in obedience and rally the last couple of years, and have managed to get her BN, RE, and 2/3 of her CD. However, she doesn't really have the temperament needed for obedience, so she's being retired after next weekend. Then, we are going to do some CATs, and if I can get her BH, we will be moving on to IPO tracking. So, Leo will be stepping into the role of my obedience/rally dog. I'm also planning on doing CATs and AKC/IPO tracking with her. This is Leo.

Love the pictures! Thanks for sharing!
I have to say I have a special fondness for dogs named "Lucky" as that was my first dog's name and he was truly a wonderful friend and companion - he was a large breed multi-mix that passed when he was 14 yrs old. So, perhaps it is the name plus the fact that your Lucky is older that made me suddenly nostalgic. |
